WoW is this thing powerful!! LOUD, and powerful! It quickly and systematically (using presets and thick, sharp blades), thoroughly blends the ingredients (ice included!) for a tasty smoothie. I think the over all unit will last for several years as it seems very well made. Slight heat from the motor but that should be expected because man this thing is powerful! LOUD but powerful lol SO happy I bought this.
